Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Radiology Tech to join our team at HCA Florida West Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising and evaluating subordinate personnel, and ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and perform imaging procedures as needed
  • Supervise and evaluate subordinate personnel, including radiologic technologists and other support staff
  • Coordinate the flow of daily activities in the assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Interface with other departments, physicians, and patients to ensure seamless communication and care
  • Participate in team interviews and provide input for performance appraisals of assigned team members
  • Assist with implementation of policies and procedures to meet accrediting agency regulations and laws
  • Maintain equipment and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum 3 years directly related experience in a hospital setting
  • Previous Lead or Charge experience strongly preferred
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)
  • Completion of a two (2) year accredited school of Radiologic Technology
