Job Summary

The Lead Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Diagnostic Imaging department. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for supervising and evaluating subordinate personnel, coordinating daily activities, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate subordinate personnel to ensure excellent patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Coordinate daily activities, including scheduling, workflow management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Interface with other departments, physicians, and patients to ensure seamless communication and care.
  • Perform imaging procedures, including call rotation coverage, and assist radiologists as needed.
  • Provide input for performance appraisals and participate in team interviews for new hires.
  • Assist with implementing policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting, with previous lead or charge experience preferred.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification and completion of a 2-year accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
