Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assessment and Referral Clinician to join our team at Rivendell Behavioral Health Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking inquiry calls, completing initial assessments, and coordinating referrals to appropriate levels of care.
Key Responsibilities- Accept and schedule assessments for patients in crisis
- Perform initial clinical assessments to determine level of care
- Coordinate and disposition of all referral calls to appropriate levels of care
- Schedule and coordinate admissions with psychiatrists and nursing staff
- Complete precertification information and forward to appropriate agencies
- Communicate with referral sources to inform them of client disposition
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory or administrative personnel
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, or a Master's Degree in Social Work with certification. You will also require five years of experience and knowledge in the area of mental health, as well as strong assessment and crisis intervention skills.
