Job Summary

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Partner Growth and Development department, you will be responsible for assisting the Partner Growth and Development Leader in the execution of our strategic operations and financial plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Affiliates team to achieve annual top-line new business targets, profitability objectives, and overall growth targets within each Lightwell agency.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve performance and identify revenue-enhancing opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing and Aggregator teams to develop and distribute sales and marketing materials.
  • Assist in the development of agency workflows to improve efficiencies.
  • Coordinate and schedule agency checkpoint meetings.
  • Collect and communicate quarterly agency survey feedback on various required topics.
  • Consolidate and report up-to-date market conditions and competitive landscapes within BrotherhoodWorks and Aggregator environments.
  • Develop, track, and maintain dedicated producer sales pipelines.
  • Collaborate with BMIC Regional Sales Managers and Sales Operations Team to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve agency goals.
  • Provide technical support to team members by providing training and mentoring as needed.
  • Assist in the recruiting and interview process of sales and service staff.
  • Assist in the coaching and mentorship of dedicated producer sales teams.
  • Assist in achieving required staffing levels within Lightwell agencies, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and overall development of sales staff.
  • Attend and communicate performance results at agency staff meetings when required.
  • Identify and close gaps in KPI performance, including BrotherhoodWorks and Aggregator.
  • Assist in the coordination of individual Lightwell agencies' Growth/Strategy Summits.
  • Assist in the successful planning, stakeholder coordination, and promotion of national Lightwell events.
  • Collaborate with the elected Lightwell Executive Council on special projects and initiatives.
  • Champion other key Affiliate Operations projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must have excellent analytical skills.
  • Must possess deep knowledge of agency and carrier operations, product development, program administration, marketing strategies, strategic planning, and general insurance practices.
  • Must communicate complex concepts effectively and professionally both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to organize, oversee, and manage assigned staff effectively.
  • Must have good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to make independent decisions.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must be able and willing to travel as needed.
Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required.
  • Five years of insurance industry experience in sales, marketing, underwriting, project management, strategic development, or insurance-related fields is required.
  • Other insurance-related coursework and studies are desired.
