About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Insurance team at Forvis Mazars, LLP. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on Insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision for Insurance clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Represent Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community
  • Participate in the proposal process for prospective clients
  • Contribute to the development of technical guidance for internal and external publication and internal learning and development
  • Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax, including technical tax consulting and research
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CPA license
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree, Insurance industry experience
