About the Role

IPEX is a leading provider of advanced plastic piping systems, and we're seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role will involve supporting multiple accounts, working across all levels of the organization, and providing exceptional customer service externally.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding price, delivery, technical support, or status of customer orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve delays, service problems, and disputes with customers in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Enter, release, and track customer orders via EDI, fax, and phone using our in-house ERP solution.
  • Verify customer pricing, terms, delivery requirements, and other relevant information.
  • Track back-orders and ensure production, purchasing, and distribution are meeting customer needs.
  • Prepare quotations and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure proper service from all directions.
  • Provide technical support by referring to IPEX publications and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A professional demeanor and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service in previous roles.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a customer service representative.
  • Good time management and follow-up skills, including the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output.
  • Excellent computer and internet skills, especially Microsoft Office and email.
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer issues and complaints patiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good team player with the ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment.
