We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and completing field coordination issues with team members, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-construction support and lead the submittal and request for information (RFI) processes for specific definable features of work (DFW).
  • Evaluate project design and engineering documents, organizing and distributing them to necessary parties.
  • Perform project-specific tasks in preparation for Pre-Mobilization Kickoff meetings.
  • Compile, contact, and arrange for short-form subcontracts with local entities at the project site.
  • Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase agreements.
  • Lead all aspects necessary for construction support, including quality assurance and quality control.
  • Coordinate DFW prep meetings, initial inspections, follow-up inspections, and punch list final inspections.
  • Handle mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination drawings, shop, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate creation of lift and formwork drawings.
  • Administer closeout processes and compile turnover documentation for specific DFW and transfer to customer per the project specific quality and TSO plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or other science or mathematical related degree by summer 2025.
  • Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to relocate frequently for project assignments based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous related internship experience.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a positive and professional attitude and exemplary customer service skills.
