Key Responsibilities- Clinical Oversight: Provide medical direction and guidance to healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Leadership: Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient services, including adherence to the established formulary for therapeutic regimens.
- Emergency Response: Respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations, providing emergency treatment on-site as needed.
- Liaison: Serve as a liaison with healthcare providers in the community, consulting with medical specialists and reviewing treatment protocols.
- Education: Medical school graduate.
- Experience: Experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Public Health preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure within the State of employment, DEA number, CPR certification, and ability to maintain privileges and CME requirements.
