Job Title: VP Clinical Operations Analytics

Eventus WholeHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Clinical Operations Analytics to lead the strategic direction and operational management of our clinical and operational analytics department. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive clinical and operational analytics strategy that supports our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analytics Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive clinical and operational analytics strategy and roadmap that supports the organization's goals and objectives, with a focus on improving patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical and operational data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making in both clinical and ACO functions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of clinical and operational data analysts, business intelligence (BI) professionals, and data warehouse developers to deliver high-quality analytics solutions and support professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial leaders to identify analytics needs and opportunities, prioritize projects, and support both the provider organization and ACO initiatives.
  • Data Integrity and Governance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data used for analytics, and maintain data quality and governance standards.
  • KPI Development: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for various departments to monitor performance and support continuous improvement.
  • Analytics Innovation and Trend Integration: Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI, to solve complex business problems related to shared savings and value-based care. Identify and integrate new data sources and tools to enhance analytics capabilities, stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics and data science, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners providing analytics and data services.
  • Clear Communication: Communicate complex data findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Value-Based Care Analytics: Develop and implement analytics strategies that support ACO initiatives aimed at achieving shared savings through improved care coordination, quality of care, and cost reduction.
  • Population Health Management: Use data analytics to support population health management, identifying trends and patterns that inform care strategies and support overall health improvements.
  • Dashboard Creation and Management: Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards for daily use by providers and clinical staff, facilitating real-time access to critical data. Create executive dashboards to provide oversight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Data Warehouse Oversight: Oversee the activities of data warehouse developers, ensuring the development, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's data warehouse to support comprehensive and efficient data analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare analytics or data analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in ACOs or value-based care models is highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record of implementing successful analytics strategies and leading large-scale analytics initiatives that drive business value in a healthcare setting.
  • Healthcare Data Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims data, patient registries, and financial data.
  • Advanced Analytics Proficiency: Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics tools and platforms such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly PowerBI, and developing KPIs and dashboards for various user levels.
  • Cloud and Big Data: Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and big data technologies.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
