The Customer Service Representative serves as a vital link between the company and its clients, providing essential support and assistance to both customers and the Technical Sales team.

- Collaborate with the Technical Sales Representative on pricing discussions and contract evaluations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate Technical Sales Representative or team member when necessary.
- Take proactive measures to resolve customer issues and enhance satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Monitor stock levels for specific customer products to ensure availability.
- Assist in project management alongside the Technical Sales Representative.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
Essential Skills:
- Outstanding communication abilities, with a focus on active listening.
- Customer-centric mindset with a knack for resolving issues.
- Proficient in computer applications and quick to learn new software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Technical aptitude in math and mechanical concepts is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service roles.
- Experience interpreting blueprints is beneficial.
- Knowledge of rubber, seals, gaskets, or related industrial components is a plus.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
This position is full-time and non-exempt, typically requiring work from Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
