Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our Client Services department, you will be responsible for handling all customer inquiries and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all customer inquiries by telephone, in writing, and in person, providing accurate and timely responses to meet customer needs.
  • Report laboratory results to clients using established protocols, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Document reporting or call history in the patient's file and maintain accurate records, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Resolve routine matters related to patient testing and result reporting, utilizing established protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic typing and computer skills, with some data entry experience preferred.
  • Customer service background preferred, with medical terminology helpful.
  • Previous medical or clinical laboratory background preferred, with one to two years of additional training in a medical or call center environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak the English language clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment and maintain accurate records.
