We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to support our General Manager of our National Security business unit.

As a key member of our team, you will provide complex clerical, secretarial, and administrative support, working under minimum supervision and acting on your own initiative and direction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to senior executives, including scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and coordinating complex activities between departments and outside parties.
  • Managing departmental projects, following up on pending details, coordinating project team activities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitoring department or project budget, keeping management apprised of budgetary status.
  • Answering mail, phone calls, and inquiries on your own initiative, routing correspondence to the appropriate person if necessary.
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies and ensuring office equipment is functioning.
  • Typically using software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, and desktop publishing applications.

Requirements include:

  • A high school diploma and at least 4-6 years of related administrative support experience.
  • Advanced word-processing and other personal computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Extensive working knowledge of departmental and company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • A working knowledge of commonly used PC applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
