Job Overview

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is actively searching for a skilled Healthcare Assistant - Front Office with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE role requiring availability during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Healthcare Assistant, your primary duty will be to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to all HIPAA regulations in a clinical environment. Your contributions will be vital during patient assessments, which include:

  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Medication reconciliation
  • Rooming patients
  • Documenting in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Processing prescription requests
  • Conducting follow-up communications with patients
  • Assisting healthcare providers during patient visits
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by supervisory staff
Qualifications:

To be considered for the Healthcare Assistant position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Current CPR certification
  • Updated Annual PPD test results
  • Ability to conduct tests, including FLU and COVID testing
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
  • Demonstrated reliability and capacity to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer proficiency (Micro MD-Medication, EMR, and EHR)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant is preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Starting pay of $15.00 or more, based on experience
  • Weekly pay schedule
  • Weekends off
