Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Quality Patient Care: Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Lead and Guide Nursing Staff: Supervise and train nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Collaborate with Physicians: Assist with rounds, physical examinations, and treatments as needed, and communicate effectively with physicians to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain Infection Control: Adhere to all regulations and guidelines to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to research and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of nursing care and patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Assist with records, orders, and assessments of new admissions, and ensure timely completion of physicals and documentation.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Registered Nurse degree from an accredited School of Nursing and current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Certifications and Training: CPR certification and ability to attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to supervise nursing assistants, make decisions regarding nursing problems, and work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
