Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Direct Nursing Staff: Lead and guide our nursing team to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that all nursing staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Director of Nursing: Work closely with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate Nursing Services: Supervise and coordinate nursing services for our facility, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care.
  • Assist with Employee Issues: Address employee concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner, documenting all actions taken.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Be available to respond to on-call situations, ensuring that patient care is not compromised.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or other senior management.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of license renewal every two years.
  • Experience: Provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctor's orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • Certifications: CPR certified annually.
  • Training: Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • Skills: Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring that work assignments are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Knowledge: Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Long-term care experience.
