We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the nursing team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct the nursing staff during shifts, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Departmental Coordination: Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication.
- Patient Care: Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes, providing high-quality care and ensuring patient safety.
- Employee Management: Deal with employee problems in a timely and professional manner, documenting actions and ensuring a positive work environment.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Assume on-call responsibilities as required, ensuring that patient care needs are met 24/7.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or other senior management.
- Education: High school graduate with a registered nurse degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of license renewal every two years.
- Certifications: CPR certified yearly, with a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Experience: Long-term care experience preferred, with the ability to supervise nursing staff and ensure timely completion of work assignments.
- Skills: Ability to read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
