Position Overview:
As a Forensic Nursing Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to provide critical support to rural Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) programs. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans, ensuring meticulous assessment, documentation, and evidence collection.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Telehealth assistance to enhance the capabilities of rural SANE programs.
2. Guide clinical staff in assessment techniques and documentation processes.
3. Engage with community partners to facilitate effective interactions and support.
4. Collaborate with management to evaluate the educational needs and competencies of both existing staff and new hires.
5. Serve as a consultant in program development, clinical practices, and professional growth initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in forensic nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with current licensure.
  • Certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for Adult/Adolescent populations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Successful candidates will have graduated from an accredited nursing program and completed specialized training in Sexual Assault Nurse Examination.
