Compensation:

Hourly rate ranging from $65 to $70.

Compensation may vary based on various factors, including individual skills, experience, and educational background.

Benefits for this position commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts, as well as access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Employees are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Proficient in supporting Financial and HCM Systems
  • Experience with migration in Workday and Peoplesoft
  • Background in an enterprise-level environment
  • Familiarity with project planning tools
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in reporting to senior management
  • Possession of a Project Management Certification: PMP, Product Management Certification, or CSM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Oil & Gas sector

Daily Responsibilities:

A client of Insight Global is looking to integrate a Project Manager into their operations. This role, referred to as a "Product Team Manager," encompasses two main functions. Firstly, the Product Team Manager will manage all facets of project and product-related activities, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and adherence to the expectations set by the Product Owner and Product Sponsor regarding budget and timelines. This includes securing resources from Resource Managers and orchestrating the efforts of Product Team members, including third-party contractors or consultants, to achieve the product objectives defined by the Product Owner and Product Sponsor.

Secondly, the Product Team Manager will oversee a designated suite of technology products. They will document the product strategy and lifecycle activities for current, near-term, and future products within the portfolio, assisting the Product Management Team in crafting and executing product roadmaps. The Product Team Manager will liaise with the Product Management Team and lead members from various disciplines within the organization, providing consistent updates to the Product Owner and Product Sponsor, along with estimates for future enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the team as needed to ensure value delivery.
  2. Deliver business value promptly.
  3. Assist in defining and documenting project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables that align with business objectives in collaboration with product owners and sponsors.
  4. Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related activities.
  5. Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure requirements are in line with stated product goals and objectives.
  6. Communicate project and product statuses effectively to team members, product owners, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with product owners and sponsors through regular meetings and discussions.
  8. Manage and monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and recommend changes as necessary.
  9. Negotiate with resource managers for the acquisition of necessary personnel.
  10. Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately.
  11. Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to plan, develop, and launch high-quality product experiences.
  12. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the product team and with Resource Managers.
  13. Plan, schedule, and monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables using suitable tools.
  14. Establish and manage success criteria and performance metrics.
  15. Oversee accounting tasks weekly, including team hours, expenses, budgets, and invoices.
  16. Conduct product reviews, comparing projections to actual outcomes and identifying successful and unsuccessful elements.
  17. Collaborate with Resource Managers to adjust human resource capacity and provide performance feedback.
