Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain regular attendance and be prepared to work specific or rotating shifts, extended hours, or overtime as required.
  2. Operate within the scope of licensure to ensure a therapeutic and safe psychiatric environment, providing both acute and long-term psychiatric care.
  3. Prescribe medications, including antipsychotics, and manage laboratory tests and consultations.
  4. Conduct face-to-face psychiatric assessments and ongoing evaluations for individuals with acute and chronic psychiatric conditions.
  5. Lead Recovery Team Meetings, conduct patient rounds, and participate in court hearings as necessary.
  6. Review hospitalized patients periodically when on-call to evaluate changes in their condition.
  7. Oversee the development and review of recovery plans, ensuring all identified risks and health statuses are addressed.
  8. Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including annual summaries and compliance with policies.
  9. Engage in quality assessment and performance improvement activities, including audits of medical records.
  10. Represent the Medical Director in their absence and participate in both internal and external meetings.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
