Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at We Care Services for Children. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing targeted, compassionate, and effective early intervention services to young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly home visits and telehealth sessions with children aged 0-3 and their parents, administering standardized assessments and creating individualized goals.
  • Provide parents/caregivers with information and demonstrations of activities and strategies to support their child's development.
  • Engage with children and families in a positive manner, fostering strong relationships and promoting a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Education, or a closely related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to self-care and reflective supervision.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation for client visits.
