Early Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at We Care Services for Children. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of infants and toddlers with special needs, working closely with their families to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth and progress.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct weekly home visits with children aged 0-3 and their families, providing individualized support and guidance to promote healthy development.
- Administer standardized assessments, such as the Batelle (BDI-2) and Bayley-4, to identify areas of strength and need.
- Develop and implement individualized goals and strategies to support the child's development, working collaboratively with parents and caregivers.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to parents and caregivers, empowering them to create a supportive and stimulating environment for their child.
- Engage with children and families in a positive and respectful manner, fostering strong relationships and promoting a sense of community.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Education, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs, with a strong understanding of child development and the importance of the parent-child relationship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
