Position Overview
Schneider Electric presents an exciting opportunity for a Financial Operations Associate. This role is integral to our finance team, providing support in various accounting functions while ensuring compliance and efficiency across a $7B operational scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the monthly, mid-year, and annual closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, while continuously seeking process enhancements.
  • Compile and analyze monthly HFM reporting packages for corporate, conducting variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements, and collaborating with controlling teams to generate insightful commentary on business trends.
  • Conduct analytical reviews to summarize the factors influencing variances in overall balance sheet statements.
  • Prepare, assess, and authorize essential account reconciliations for various assets and liabilities, ensuring thorough documentation from business unit analysts.
  • Support the review and optimization of intercompany transactions.
  • Assist in preparing schedules and facilitating both internal and external audits.
  • Develop and document business processes to enhance and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Expand knowledge of IFRS and engage in technical research.
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives aimed at improving accounting processes through automation and standardization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in public accounting.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient analytical, technical, and Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or MBA credentials.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, HFM, Dynamics, or similar).
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting.
