Position Overview
Aviation Training Consulting, LLC is in search of a qualified individual with a background in Tactical Command and Control (TAC C2) and Air Battle Management to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role is essential in enhancing the training capabilities for aircrew within the Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Distributed Training Center. The selected candidate will leverage their extensive operational experience to develop and implement realistic training scenarios, ensuring effective execution of Distributed Mission Operations (DMO).
Key Responsibilities
The SME will be responsible for the following:
- Leading mission briefings and debriefings, while assessing simulator design and training effectiveness to optimize proficiency.
- Collaborating with aircrew training device providers and stakeholders to define exercise requirements that align with the MAF DMO Program vision.
- Providing tactical and operational insights into the integrated employment of MAF DTC core missions, with a focus on fighter operations.
- Analyzing military command control and communications, electronic warfare, and weapon systems to offer strategic recommendations.
- Coordinating with user representatives throughout the development phases to clarify and prioritize requirements.
- Evaluating the outcomes of operational training and simulated wartime exercises to maintain force capabilities.
- Delivering subject matter expertise to support DMO events and enhancing tactical training for participants.
- Creating and refining mission planning materials to maximize training effectiveness.
- Preparing comprehensive reports and briefs detailing support requirements and deficiencies.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 10 years of experience with a High School Diploma.
- Current or prior TAC C2 experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Air Combat Command (ACC) Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Air Control Communication (AFTTP).
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior or current Active Duty or Reserve TAC C2 experience.
- Experience as an instructor or evaluator.
- Background in planning and executing Large Force Exercise training events.
Compensation
Salary negotiations will commence at $127,000 annually.
