Pilot SME

Aviation Training Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pilot SME to support the Mobility Air Force Distributed Training Center (DTC) in O'Fallon, IL. The ideal candidate will have operational knowledge of pilot doctrine, aircraft capabilities, and tactics to prepare realistic aircrew training scenarios and lead the execution of MAF Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) events.

• Lead and facilitate mission briefings and debriefings, evaluating simulator design and training effectiveness to provide maximum proficiency.
• Collaborate with MAF Aircrew Training Device providers and customers to determine exercise requirements that meet the MAF DMO Program vision.
• Provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment of MAF DTC core missions, with specific expertise in fighter employment and fighter integration.

• 6+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 10 years relevant experience with High School Diploma.
• Current or previous C-17, C-5, KC-135 or C-130 piloting experience, preferred within the last 3 years.
• Must be a US citizen, currently hold and able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven leadership skills and effective communication, both written and oral.

• Instructor or Evaluator experience.
• Experience in planning and executing Large Force Exercise training events.

Salary: Starts at $130,000 USD annually.
