Job Description:
As a Community Outreach Coordinator at Project Self-Sufficiency, you will play a critical role in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support the organization's mission. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating volunteer activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a positive experience for all volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in social services, community outreach, or a related field, with strong organizational and time-management skills. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Source and recruit volunteers through various channels.
  2. Conduct interviews and background checks.
  3. Facilitate orientation and training sessions for new volunteers.
  4. Assign volunteers to roles that match their skills and interests.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work required. Must be able to travel locally for events and meetings. A competitive salary commensurate with previous non-profit management experience, references, and other factors is offered, along with health benefits, on-site childcare, and a 401K plan.
