Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and understands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of their patients.

Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient.

The Registered Nurse may rotate to areas other than their assigned service area/s and will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency.

The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.


Position Requirements:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.

Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications through recognized organizations required at the time of hire.

*Colleagues participating in a transition to practice program must have all required certifications at the completion of their program and transition to independent practice.

Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
Minimum of 1 year Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferred.
