Critical Care Nurse

The Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Trauma ICU
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC
Graduate of a certified School of Nursing with a minimum of 276 clinical hours
