Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU), working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to patients with complex medical needs, utilizing your expertise in critical care nursing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- 2+ years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a PCU setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
