Critical Care Nurse

The Hospitals of Providence seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet the needs of critically ill patients.
- Respond to code and emergent situations, working as a team member to provide timely and effective care.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Collaborate with ancillary staff and other healthcare professionals to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the ICU setting.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for patients, families, and staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
