Job Summary

As a Paralegal Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will provide legal and administrative support to judges, Army lawyers, and unit commanders. What You'll Learn

Through your training, you will learn how to interview witnesses, research court decisions and Army regulations, process legal claims and appeals, and prepare records of hearings, investigations, courts-martial, and courts of inquiry. You will also develop your skills in areas such as technical guidance, supervision, and record-keeping.

As a Paralegal Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including private law firms, banks, insurance companies, government agencies, and local, state, and federal courts. Training and Education

Job training for a Paralegal Specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training and on-the-job instruction. You will also have the opportunity to earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance.
