As a key player in the Grundy Center Family Medicine Clinic, the Clinic Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of our medical office. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all operational aspects align with the clinic's objectives and standards.
The Supervisor will report directly to the Clinic Administrator or Senior Clinic Administrator, collaborating closely with the leadership team to manage and coordinate clinic activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinic operations and support staffing schedules for healthcare providers, nursing staff, and patient service representatives.
- Manage the hiring and onboarding processes for new staff members.
- Lead the evaluation and training of clinical and patient service representatives.
- Provide effective leadership to ensure optimal office operations and quality of care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operational tasks and provide support for all related processes and procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, collaborating with clinic administrators on significant matters.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging constructive feedback.
- Identify and resolve daily operational challenges while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Stay informed about clinic activities by participating in meetings and utilizing internal communication resources.
- Strive to enhance quality and customer service, aiming to exceed expectations.
- Promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professional excellence aligned with our organizational values.
- Ensure consistent attendance and communication with staff, providers, and patients.
- Serve as a liaison between various stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and operational efficiency.
- Lead during emergency situations to ensure the safety of all individuals within the clinic.
- Support strategic initiatives and manage departmental metrics as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies.
Qualifications:
- RN/LPN/AAMA certification required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Business or healthcare management degree is a plus.
- Mandatory Reporter and CPR certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and leadership skills are essential.
- Proficient in computer skills and effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.
- Knowledge of personnel administration and patient relations principles is beneficial.
- Team-oriented with the ability to understand and apply organizational policies and procedures.
- Experience with process improvement is preferred.
