Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP, Specialty Banking Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you'll be responsible for developing new relationships and deepening existing ones within the legal industry and escrow services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the bank in the business community, developing relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and centers of influence.
  • Build and maintain a list of targeted prospect profiles, strategizing and executing a call plan to meet individual and team sales objectives.
  • Review and recommend deposit and treasury management products for new banking relationships.
  • Manage existing client relationships, providing periodic calls and reviews, assisting with service-related requests, and deepening relationships through product and treasury management solutions.
  • Monitor market conditions, observing competitor impact, and make recommendations to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of commercial products, including loans, cash management, trade service products, and deposits, to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience.
  • Organize and maintain key client data in the bank's CRM system.
  • Attend meetings, events, trade shows, and conferences to support sales efforts.
  • Call on both warm and cold leads as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Details-oriented and task-driven.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to answer questions related to treasury management products and services, customer accounts, and bank-related materials.
  • Basic math skills and basic phone skills, including business and sales etiquette.
Education and Experience
  • High school education or GED.
  • Five to seven years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Five plus years of banking experience.
  • Five plus years of specific industry experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving over $20MM in new deposit production annually.
Computer and Software Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Google Apps.
  • Excel.
