Job Title:

VP, Banking Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

This position will primarily be responsible for developing new business relationships within the legal industry and escrow services while implementing comprehensive banking solutions for new and existing clients. To achieve this, it is expected that this individual will develop and execute on a sales plan that focuses on cold calling, in-market events, centers of influence development and maintenance, and networking within the legal industry and escrow services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the bank in the business community and develop relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and centers of influence.
  • Build and maintain a list of targeted prospect profiles and strategize and execute a call plan to meet individual and team sales objectives.
  • Review and recommend deposit and treasury management products for new banking relationships.
  • Manage an existing portfolio of clients by performing periodic calls and reviews, assisting with service-related requests, deepening relationships by providing product and treasury management solutions, and providing recommendations to other bank resources.
  • Monitor market conditions, observe competitor impact, and make recommendations to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products, including loans, cash management, trade service products, and deposits, to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience.
  • Organize and maintain key client data in the bank's CRM system.
  • Attend meetings, events, trade shows, and conferences to support sales efforts.
  • Call on both warm and cold leads as needed.
  • Assist with any other daily job duties.
  • Participate in required training courses related to the job.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Details and task-oriented.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, along with the ability to answer questions related to treasury management products and services, customer accounts, and bank-related materials.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic phone skills, including business and sales etiquette.
Education and Experience:
  • High school education or GED.
  • Five to seven years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Five plus years of banking experience.
  • Five plus years of specific industry experience.
  • Over 5 years' experience working in a sales environment.
  • A proven track record of achieving over $20MM in new deposit production annually.
  • Experience reviewing banking forms and documents is also a plus.
Computer and Software Skills:
  • Microsoft Office suite.
  • Google Apps.
  • Excel.
