We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the clinical nutrition care provided to inpatients and outpatients within our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the clinical nutrition care department, including scheduling, performance evaluations, employee engagement, and employee discipline.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in collaboration with medical, pharmacy, and nursing team members.
- Oversee the patient food service system, including menu planning, compliance with policies and procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Assess patients to detect those at nutritional risk and provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) via electronic documentation.
- Supervise and direct the activities of assigned personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Document patients' progress toward care plan goals in medical records and educate patients and families about drug/nutrient interactions.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
- Five years' technical experience and one year's leadership experience preferred.
