Role Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist collaborates with clients to identify their needs, develop tailored solutions, and facilitate a seamless sales experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with customers by assisting walk-in and phone inquiries, representing the organization professionally.
- Efficiently process, retrieve, and distribute customer products.
- Address questions and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Accurately enter sales orders to generate invoices for product pickup or delivery, ensuring payment is secured in line with company policies.
- Assess and determine the handling of warranty items based on manufacturer policies and customer requirements.
- Provide estimated delivery dates to customers based on vendor production and delivery timelines.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred 1+ years of relevant inside sales experience.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with assistance.
- Strong presence at the counter with direct customer interaction.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office applications.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing inventory and customer concerns.
- Familiarity with products related to pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or construction is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
