Position: Cosmetic Sales Specialist

Core Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional customer experience by applying effective sales techniques. Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and that the store environment aligns with brand expectations.

Brand Engagement: Enhance the customer journey by implementing our sales strategies and adhering to company directives. Guarantee that all customer transactions are handled with precision. Uphold brand standards by maintaining an inviting store atmosphere that fosters a positive shopping experience. Proactively address and resolve customer service challenges.

Team Collaboration: Foster a cooperative work environment to achieve store objectives and meet customer needs, which includes maintaining good attendance. Engage with a diverse range of customers and colleagues regularly. Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members. Promote an inclusive workplace culture.

Operational Excellence: Accurately record all sales transactions in the point-of-sale system and manage all monetary exchanges, including sales, returns, and exchanges. Complete daily administrative tasks and reporting, and make bank deposits as required. Price merchandise, manage back stock, assist with shipment processing, and maintain cleanliness in the store. Support planogram execution as necessary. May be responsible for opening and closing the store.

Safety and Loss Prevention: Adhere to all safety protocols and loss prevention policies. Ensure compliance with inventory control measures and hazardous materials regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to apply product knowledge to enhance customer service
  • Proficient in reading and explaining product labels
  • Willingness to follow directions and perform additional tasks as assigned by management
