POSITION TITLE: Site Technician Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

Must reside within a reasonable distance from the customer site.

Hours - 6AM - 5 PM

Konecranes is in search of a qualified individual with crane experience to fill the role of Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing the scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance for our clients. Our work environment prioritizes safety, and the Site Supervisor must adhere to all safety protocols, including those set by our clients. This role involves conducting inspections and providing prompt quotes to clients as necessary.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute the established schedule for customer inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring completion or making alternative arrangements as needed.

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance within designated hours, maintaining safety and quality standards. Communicate any exceptions to the supervisor promptly.

Perform inspections in line with established standards and current service product parameters. Document findings and recommend corrective actions to clients, including a summary of any safety concerns.

Consult with client representatives regarding repair and safety issues. Prepare necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment requirements for repairs.



Provide all required documentation for inspections and services, including Service Reports and Inspection Reports, ensuring client signatures are obtained for acceptance.

Supervise and support site-based inspectors and technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship through regular spot checks.

Generate quick quotes for immediate service or repair needs as requested by clients, ensuring proper documentation is completed.

Understand and apply relevant industry codes and regulations, refreshing knowledge periodically. Assist site personnel with inspection practices and documentation queries.

Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted timely, adhering to established guidelines.

Maintain regular communication with the branch office in accordance with established practices.

Coordinate with the branch service supervisor for additional manpower as needed.

Ensure all company-issued equipment and vehicles are maintained in safe working order and report any deficiencies.

Keep a supply of necessary forms and materials on-site, documenting use or sale to clients as required.

Adhere to all safety protocols, including those established by clients.

Maintain company vehicles and uniforms in a clean and presentable condition.

Participate in monthly safety meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years in crane service or a related field. Six months of experience as a Service Technician is preferred. Experience in customer service or sales is also preferred. Must be capable of working at heights and possess good written, verbal, and computer skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Availability for occasional overtime and on-call duties is required.
