About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer to join our team at AHEAD USA. As a key member of our Digital Solutions Group, you will be responsible for generating demand across our portfolio of Digital Solution consulting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and introduce our AHEAD DDP and DSG frameworks to qualify opportunities.
  • Initiate conversations with customers focused on Data & AI, Platform Engineering, and Modern Applications in collaboration with vendors and our services organization.
  • Identify gaps in the client environment, process, and skills to address, educate, and bring their teams together to drive client enablement.
  • Explain and educate complex solutions, architectures, and integrations in a clear and articulate manner.
  • Create guiding examples of customer transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement.
  • Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth through personal campaigns or internal sources.
  • Identify customer business needs and technology readiness, contributing to the development of solutions in collaboration with internal teams, partners, and services.
  • Propose prioritized solutions that align with customers' needs and articulate the business value of proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to build pipeline, interface with customers, and build relationships via social selling.
  • Apply our sales process to adequately qualify opportunities and identify opportunities to drive consumption and grow business with existing customers.
  • Proactively engage with Cloud vendors to leverage funding mechanisms available as part of sales campaigns.
  • Proactively build external stakeholders' mapping and collaborate with account teams to identify and engage senior business subject matter decision makers.
  • Implement strategies to accelerate the closing of deals and contribute input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities.
Technical Expertise
  • Lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft, AWS, Harness, Redhat, Snowflake, and other partners.
  • Initiate conversations with prospective customers/partners at events to expand external network.
  • Proactively provide analysis of the competitive landscape in supported solution areas, evaluating opportunities and making recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal.
  • Maintain a 101 level competency and certification level in core technology areas across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Sales Excellence
  • Collaborate with partners and resources, leveraging customer insights or industry knowledge to explore business and emerging opportunities.
  • Review feedback reports and coach others on ensuring customer/partner satisfaction and decreasing dissatisfaction by establishing recovery action plans.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning and collaborate with extended sales teams, partners, and marketing to conduct business analysis.
  • Manage the end-to-end business of assigned territories, conducting forecasting for accounts and developing a portfolio and territory plan to drive intentional selling aligned with strategic priorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor-level degree in engineering, IT, data communications, Information Systems, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and On-Premises Environments.
  • Experience with Modern Data Platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in Automation, Orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
