Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, utilizing dishwashers or manual methods.
  • Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with health standards by monitoring sanitizer levels in dish machines and pot sinks.
  • Keep kitchen ware storage areas neat and organized.
  • Manage waste disposal by removing trash from the dish area and transporting it to designated disposal sites, while also cleaning and sanitizing garbage containers.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with team members.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds, and to place items on high and low shelves.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and squatting.
  • Occasional pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms.
  • Potential hazards include cuts from broken glass, exposure to hot surfaces, and contact with cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid kitchen environment.
Work Schedule

This position may require evening shifts, overnight hours, and weekend availability, with schedules based on event needs.
