We are seeking a dedicated Property Asset Assistant to join our team in the Greater Washington, DC, Metro area. The successful candidate will engage in essential personal property management functions. Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting physical inventories and ensuring quality assurance of results.
  • Performing direct searches and investigations for missing property.
  • Researching and documenting property found within facilities.
  • Gathering necessary documentation for Property Requests, including Loans, Trade-ins, and Decal Deletions.
  • Collaborating with lab managers and Accountable Users to resolve discrepancies related to missing property.
  • Decaling newly acquired assets and completing decal worksheets that do not necessitate further inquiry.
  • Successfully completing required training courses.

Location: On-site in the Washington DC Metro Area.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • ITIL or a related certification in IT asset management is advantageous.
  • Experience in inventorying IT assets is essential.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience is required with a Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience is required with a High School diploma.
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.
  • US Citizenship or permanent residency is required, and candidates must be able to pass a thorough background check.
  • Availability for on-site work is essential.
