We seek a driven team player who is enthusiastic about sales and customer service. A successful Sales & Front Desk Specialist is personable, self-driven, an independent thinker, and a caring dog enthusiast. We are looking for a dedicated individual eager to progress their career through our training program aimed at developing Scenthound Managers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including average ticket price and rebooking ratios through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Generate leads for memberships; follow up with prospective members
  • Handle phone inquiries, schedule client appointments, and maintain customer profiles and records
  • Oversee cash handling and manage the cash drawer
  • Manage customer expectations, address concerns, and retain memberships
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area in accordance with Scenthound standards
  • Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Scenter Manager

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to connect with clients (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Capacity to learn about our offerings and educate dog owners; articulate our values and culture as the foundation for our services
  • Effective communication skills with team members and dog owners (in-person and via phone)
  • Ability to independently resolve issues using Scenthound values and culture as a framework
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills; efficiently schedule appointments
  • Accountability; uphold Scenthound standards for oneself and others
