Insurance Sales Representative

As an Account Representative with Kara Smith - State Farm Agent, you will play a vital role in our agency's growth by matching prospective customers with the insurance products we offer. Through your proactive marketing & sales efforts, you will directly improve the lives of our customers.

Responsibilities include establishing customer relationships and following up with prospects, using a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options, and providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. You will also be responsible for sales prospecting through community outreach, phone calls, and social media, as well as systematic follow-up on internet-generated sales leads. Clear notetaking and use of a robust CRM tool are also essential for this role.
Qualifications include experience in sales, preferably in outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing, as well as experience managing client relationships. You should also have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, and have good listening skills. Additionally, you will need to obtain Property and Casualty Licenses, as well as Life & Health Licenses.
