We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee the supervision of hourly shuttle bus drivers and courtesy cart drivers for our Park and Ride division at Vectour Group.

About the Job

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including $20.67 per hour, 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of the Park and Ride division, including managing drivers, dispatchers, coordinators, and fleet maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform policy and dress code.
  • Assign/reassign hourly employees to work areas or vehicles as needed.
  • Verify and document callouts hourly.
  • Make necessary schedule adjustments to fulfill minimum staffing requirements.
  • Serve discipline for violations per policy and/or CBA.
  • Complete daily bus audits.
  • Dispatch as needed.
  • Pre/post trip inspection of company vehicle at shift change times.
  • Ensure timely fueling of vehicles.
  • Monitor/communicate via radio throughout shift.
  • Visually inspect locations for compliance of company goals.
  • Report maintenance issues to Fleet and Ops Manager.
  • Perform random checks for required driver's license and company issued badges.
  • Assist with processing exception transactions.
  • Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance condition and properly stocked with tickets and receipt paper.
  • Respond to customer service-related issues per company guidelines.
  • Monitor and implement effective safety procedures.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of company policy/procedures and collective bargaining agreement.
  • Direct traffic to available parking.
  • Interact with customers, presenting a professional demeanor.
  • Disseminate information to other departments/employees as needed.
  • Possess a valid driver's license/state issued ID to be carried with employee at all times.
  • Complete weekly time samples for Shuttle operation.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in a similar industry.
  • A valid State of Georgia Driver's License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
  • A neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
