Position Overview:
The Engineered Products division at Concrete Pipe & Precast, LLC is seeking a proactive and mechanically skilled Technical Field Support Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in the effective assembly, installation, and operational success of our offerings.
Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide on-site assistance, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure adherence to industry standards and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, swiftly identifying and resolving issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Keep precise records of all service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair documentation.
- Educate clients on the proper usage and upkeep of equipment.
- Support the hands-on assembly of internal components, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Follow safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the capability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- An associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in field service or a comparable role.
Additional Requirements:
- Must reside within the designated region of the continental U.S. No relocation assistance is available.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Typical Work Schedule:
Work is generally conducted Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, depending on workload and production requirements, with regular travel to job sites in the region.
Physical Demands:
The role requires physical agility and may involve various activities, including standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), as well as pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs.).
Work Environment:
Office tasks will be performed in clean, climate-controlled settings with fluorescent lighting.
Assembly and installation activities may occur in production environments or in the field, where ambient weather conditions, noise, hazardous equipment, and variable lighting may be present.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory in all production areas and job sites.Compensation:
