Position Overview: Our Engineered Products division is seeking a dedicated and mechanically skilled Field Service Representative. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective assembly, installation, and operational performance of our products. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver on-site assistance, resolve issues, and guarantee adherence to industry standards and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, swiftly identifying and addressing issues.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Keep detailed records of all service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair documentation.
- Educate clients on the proper usage and upkeep of equipment.
- Support the hands-on assembly of internal components, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- An associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in field service or a comparable role.
- Must reside within the designated region of the continental U.S. Relocation assistance is not available.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Physical Requirements: The role requires physical agility and may involve various activities such as standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Additionally, pushing and pulling may be required, also up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment: Office tasks will be conducted in clean, climate-controlled settings with fluorescent lighting. Assembly and installation duties may take place in production environments or in the field, exposing you to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and equipment hazards. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory in all production areas and job sites.
Compensation: Compensation will be determined based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
