About the Role:

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bilingual Intake Specialist to join our team. As a Bilingual Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving and processing daily intakes and/or new referrals in the EMR system independently and accurately. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes daily intakes and/or new referrals in the EMR system independently and accurately
  • Contact caregivers/referral source to gather all information needed to process intake immediately upon receipt
  • Manages front lobby, walk-ins, unlocking, and locking doors daily
  • Answering phones, preparing, and handling complex communication correspondence
  • Client facing front desk support and daily duties including in person and telephonic communication with the caregivers of our pediatric clients
  • Manages waitlist and communicates regularly with caregivers as to status of admission
  • Provide assistance with scheduling clients and communication to appropriate staff
  • Coordinates with HR/Business Development to compare Referral Report to Intake status and reports information weekly
  • Assists with applicant interview process as needed
  • Takes initiative to continually work efficiently to ensure work tasks are kept up to date
  • Routine preparation of administrative paperwork and assisting directors in various projects
  • Promote good human relations with clients, caregivers, and coworkers

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be able to handle high call volume
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Be highly energetic, goal oriented, and self-motivated
  • Demonstrate highly professional and positive attitude
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Word, TEAMS, and Excel programs
  • Be able to read, write, and comprehend English
