Reports to: Property Manager

Objective: Ensure each property is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.

Real Estate Equities is seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The role involves overseeing the upkeep of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding service to residents and build positive relationships.
  • Contribute effectively as a member of the on-site team.
  • Understand and follow established cleaning and maintenance standards.
  • Execute apartment turnover tasks within specified timeframes.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, including:
    • Cleaning and polishing floors
    • Vacuuming and shampooing carpets
    • Washing windows
    • Spot-cleaning walls and doors
    • Emptying trash and replacing liners
    • Assisting with snow removal and grounds maintenance
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
  • Change light bulbs as needed.
  • Clear debris from vacant units and garages.
  • Utilize cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Recommend supplies and maintain inventory in the supply room.
  • Assist with end-of-month cleaning tasks.
  • Work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in property maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques and standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Capability to meet deadlines consistently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekends as necessary. Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

Compensation: Hourly Wage
