Electrical Systems Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at our Pikeville, KY plant. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed food processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Services: Install, repair, and service electrical systems, including source or fabricating replacement components.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers, and perform preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Technical Interpretation: Interpret PLC ladder logic programs, blueprints, and technical diagrams, and draw rough sketches and update project records.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems, and test and troubleshoot systems, including computer setups.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Adhere to local, state, and national electric codes and OSHA regulations, and serve as a liaison with clients, vendors, and other electricians.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate, associate degree or technical apprenticeship preferred
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license required, plus at least experience in an industrial environment
  • Familiarity with PLC programming
  • Working knowledge of NEC requirements
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Mechanical skills
  • Ability to work on-call as needed to assist during emergencies
