Industrial Electrician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Kellanova's Pikeville, KY plant. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed food processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment and control systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Interpret PLC ladder logic programs and troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement electrical system improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electric codes, as well as OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical apprenticeship preferred.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license required, with at least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of NEC requirements and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to work on-call as needed to assist during emergencies.
