Ecommerce Site Operations Director

About the Role:

This position is responsible for measuring and improving the customer shopping journey on Walmart's digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, program management, or related areas, with a strong understanding of eCommerce merchandising, site operations, and business management. The role requires a strategic thinker who can develop plans to improve customer pathways and effectiveness, working closely with insights and analytics partners. The Director will also lead the development of new features, including comprehensive business requirements, sizing, and prioritization, as well as technical development, testing, and go-to-market planning. Additionally, the role involves implementing effective change management strategies and training plans to gain adoption from multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, project/program management, information technology, finance, computer science, or related area, and 8 years of experience in project management, program management, or related areas, including 3 years of supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create strategic plans for the department, building perspective on KPIs and aligning resources to achieve targets.
  • Lead the development of new features, including comprehensive business requirements, sizing, and prioritization, as well as technical development, testing, and go-to-market planning.
  • Implement effective change management strategies and training plans to gain adoption from multiple business functions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project/program management, information technology, finance, computer science, or related area.
  • 8 years of experience in project management, program management, or related areas, including 3 years of supervisory experience.
